JAS’s workforce and youth development programs are designed by educators and practitioners to meet the needs of Greater Boston’s skilled labor market. Our TeenWork, JAS YouthBuild and BioMed Careers programs prepare community members for numerous opportunities in a wide variety of industries, including:
All of our programs equip the community’s youth and adults with a range of knowledge and skills that improve their work habits and increase their learning. The end result? More job opportunities and earning power, a sense of improved self-esteem, and the ability to participate fully in the life of the community.
JAS’s services are designed for adults who are unemployed, underemployed, on transitional assistance, or are displaced workers. We also work with young adults who need a high school diploma, pregnant and parenting teens, and high school students looking for an alternative path to a successful and rewarding life.
