New Resident Service Coordinator
Dear Residents,
My name is Simone Layne, and I’m excited to join Just A Start as the new Resident Service Coordinator for 402 and 432 Rindge. In my role, I will connect residents to resources, programs, and opportunities that help them maintain stable housing and overall well-being. I have a background in community engagement, and I am dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate services and feel supported. I’m also bilingual in English and French Creole and enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds.

Welcome Our New Digital Navigator
We are excited to introduce our new Digital Navigator Pedro Palomino who is here to support residents with everyday technology needs. Whether you need help using a phone, computer, or accessing online services, assistance is now available right in your community.
Services Available:
- Help with computers, phones, and tablets
- Support with email, job applications, and online forms
- Guidance on accessing the internet and digital services
- Computer classes are coming soon! A schedule will be shared soon.
We encourage all residents to stop by, ask questions, and take advantage of this free resource. Support is here to help you feel more confident and connected.

Adult Career Training
Just A Start’s Biotechnology and Information Technology. Our nine-month Biomedical and IT Career Programs are free and prepare individuals for entry-level jobs in biotechnology and IT support. Training will take place at 430 Rindge Ave.
Classes are in-person only and applications open in the Spring.
